This storytelling performance event takes place in Selkirk, Manitoba.
Celebrate the voices of Selkirk’s newcomer community at a special storytelling performance featuring original stories, a visual story display, and community dialogue.
After eight weeks of workshops, newcomers from Selkirk and District are ready to share their voices with the community.
Join us for the Taking Root Storytelling Performance, where participants present stories of growth, belonging, and resilience on stage.
The evening will also feature a visual story display and a community discussion session, creating space for connection and understanding between newcomers and long-time residents.
