Service Description

Apply your storytelling facilitation skills in real-world settings and complete the final step in the StoryBridge certification pathway. The Certified Community Storytelling Facilitator program provides advanced training while supporting participants to design and lead their own storytelling initiatives. Participants receive guidance in program design, facilitation planning, and reflective practice, applying the StoryBridge Method in community and organizational settings. The program culminates in a practicum project where participants facilitate a storytelling circle, workshop, or dialogue-based storytelling event and reflect on their facilitation experience. Next Cohort: Wednesdays, 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM January 20 – March 17, 2027 Online training with practicum component | Limited to 12–15 participants What You Will Gain Participants will: • Design and facilitate a storytelling workshop, circle, or dialogue-based storytelling event • Apply the StoryBridge Method to real-world storytelling programs • Strengthen facilitation skills through practice and reflection • Learn how to navigate complex or emotionally meaningful storytelling conversations • Develop confidence leading storytelling initiatives within organizations or communities Participants will also receive feedback and guidance as they prepare and reflect on their practicum project. Who This Training Is For This workshop is designed for participants who have completed Level 1 and Level 2 of the StoryBridge training pathway and are ready to apply their facilitation skills in community settings. Participants may include nonprofit facilitators, educators, community leaders, and practitioners who want to integrate storytelling into their programs or engagement initiatives. Training Format Nine weeks of guided learning and practicum development. Participants attend live online sessions and complete a practicum project where they design and facilitate a storytelling initiative and submit a reflection and participant feedback summary. Participants who complete all program requirements receive the designation: StoryBridge Certified Community Storytelling Facilitator Certification is valid for three years and may be renewed through continuing education. Workshop Fee Sliding scale registration: Early Bird – $1,100 (Until December 20) Standard Rate – $1,300 Supporter Rate – $1,500 Sliding scale pricing helps support accessibility while sustaining StoryBridge storytelling programs.
