We Are All Stories (2026)

We Are All Stories is a storytelling event that explores identity, belonging, and lived experience through storytelling and creative expression.

The 2026 presentation will feature a special live storytelling performance featuring spoken word from Rebel. Mother. Queen by Patlee Creary, alongside a powerful musical collaboration with Roots in Harmony Choir.

This year’s event takes place in the unique Roundhouse Auditorium at the RRC Polytech's Exchange District Campus. True to its name, the space is built in a circular design, allowing us to create an immersive theatre-in-the-round experience directed by Rachel E. Smith. Audience seating will surround the stage, placing you in close proximity to the stories as they unfold.

At the centre of this shared space, Patlee will bring her work to life through spoken word, while Roots in Harmony fills the room with layered vocal arrangements and resonant sound.
