Be Part of the Story
StoryBridge thrives on community.
Whether you volunteer, partner with us, or host a program, your involvement helps us bring voices together, spark belonging, and create change through community engagement, storytelling and expressive art.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are at the heart of StoryBridge. From helping at storytelling cafés and community events to supporting program delivery and outreach, there are many ways to get involved. Volunteering is also a chance to connect with newcomers, youth, and seniors while learning from their experiences.
Volunteers help us run programs, document stories, plan and support events, and build a welcoming space for everyone. We provide training and orientation, flexible roles and hours, as well as opportunities to grow leadership skill through committees and advisory groups.
Roles could include:
-
Event and workshop support
-
Social media and outreach assistance
-
Photography and documentation
-
Program co-facilitation and mentorship
-
Planning and fundraising committees
