About The Event
Join us for a special Seniors’ Storytelling Circle at the Gaynor Family Regional Library on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 12:30 PM. This free community event is part of the StoryBridge Network’s Open Circle Pop-Up series. It is designed to help seniors build connections, share wisdom, and reduce loneliness and isolation through the power of storytelling.
Stories connect us. They hold memories, lessons, and laughter that strengthen our communities and bring people together.
The Seniors’ Storytelling Circle invites older adults in Selkirk and surrounding areas to gather in a welcoming space to share their stories—or to listen and enjoy.
Through guided prompts like “Tell me about your favourite family tradition,” “What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?” and “Where was your favourite place to hang out as a kid?” and others, participants will spark conversation, build friendships, and find a sense of belonging.
