The StoryBridge Community Storytelling Facilitator Certification Program prepares new and experienced facilitators, educators, and community leaders to guide storytelling circles, workshops, and dialogue-based storytelling experiences using ethical and trauma-sensitive storytelling practices.
Participants build practical facilitation skills while learning the StoryBridge Method, a framework that integrates lived-experience storytelling, ethical listening, and community dialogue.

Become a Certified Trauma-Sensitive Storytelling and Community Engagement Facilitator
Individuals who successfully complete the StoryBridge Level 3 Facilitator Training are eligible to be certified as a StoryBridge Trauma-Sensitive Storytelling and Community Engagement Facilitator. This certification is valid for three years and includes access to ongoing training and mentorship in storytelling facilitation and program design. Certified facilitators are eligible to join our preferred list of community facilitators and engagement specialists, can facilitate StoryBridge workshops and programs, and receive complimentary Network membership.
Certified facilitators may renew their certification annually by paying a nominal administrative fee and completing a refresher course covering new or improved practices, facilitation strategies, and learning related to storytelling and community dialogue.
To qualify for certification, individuals must complete the following levels of the StoryBridge Facilitator Training Program.

Level 1: Trauma-Sensitive Facilitation Foundations - 7.5 training hours (Mandatory for New and Developing Facilitators (less than 5 years of experience)/Optional for Experienced Facilitators)

Level 2: Narrative Empowerment & Client Agency - 15 training hours

Level 3: Responsive & Inclusive Program Design - 22.5 training hours plus practicum
Note: Facilitators with 5 or more years of experience may skip Level 1 and begin at Level 2. You may complete workshops anytime, in any order. However, to be certified as a StoryBridge Trauma-Sensitive Storytelling and Community Engagement Facilitator, you must complete Level 2 and Level 3 within the same twelve-month period.
