The StoryBridge Certification Pathway

Participants progress through a three-level learning pathway that develops storytelling facilitation skills and practical experience.

The StoryBridge Method

The certification program is grounded in The StoryBridge Method, a facilitation framework that emphasizes:

  • Lived experience as expertise

  • Trauma-sensitive storytelling practices

  • Ethical listening and dialogue

  • Storytelling as a catalyst for connection and understanding

Participants learn how to design storytelling programs using the StoryBridge Story Cycle:

Prepare → Explore → Share → Reflect → Extend

This approach ensures storytelling experiences support both personal reflection and meaningful community dialogue.

Training Format

Training cohorts are delivered in small-group learning environments that support active participation and peer learning.

Program features include:

  • Live interactive training sessions

  • Storytelling exercises and reflection activities

  • Facilitation practice opportunities

  • Peer dialogue and collaborative learning

  • Practicum project support

Training is delivered primarily online, with occasional in-person workshops depending on location and partnerships.

Certification Renewal

StoryBridge facilitator certifications are valid for three years.
