About the StoryBridge Board

The Board of Directors of The StoryBridge Network provides strategic leadership, governance oversight, and long-term guidance for the organization.

Board members help ensure that StoryBridge remains a sustainable, accountable, and mission-driven organization that uses storytelling and creative expression to strengthen community connection, confidence, and belonging.

Serving on the board offers an opportunity to contribute professional expertise while supporting storytelling programs that bring together newcomers, youth, seniors, and community members.

Board members typically contribute several hours per month to governance meetings, strategic discussions, and occasional organizational initiatives.

How the StoryBridge Board Works

The StoryBridge board operates using a portfolio model of governance. Rather than assigning traditional officer titles for every position, board members bring expertise in key governance areas that help the organization remain strong, accountable, and connected to community needs.

These portfolios reflect the types of leadership perspectives the board values as the organization grows.

While not all portfolios represent open board positions at any given time, they help guide recruitment and ensure the board maintains a balanced range of expertise.
