StoryBridge Community Storytelling Programs

The StoryBridge Network brings people together with storytelling and expressive arts programs that amplify voices and build belonging.

Community Programs That Amplify Voices and Build Belonging

StoryBridge programs create welcoming spaces where people can share stories, strengthen confidence, and build meaningful connections across cultures and generations.

Through storytelling workshops, community dialogue circles, and youth creative programs, StoryBridge supports newcomers, youth, seniors, and individuals experiencing displacement in sharing their lived experiences and connecting with their communities.

Our programs combine storytelling, expressive arts, and trauma-sensitive facilitation to create environments where stories are shared with dignity and respect.

Our Program Areas

StoryBridge programs focus on creating inclusive storytelling spaces for communities that often face barriers to participation in the arts and civic life.

Our work primarily supports:

  • Newcomers navigating cultural transitions and seeking belonging

  • Seniors experiencing social isolation who wish to share life stories and wisdom

  • Youth exploring identity, creativity, and well-being

  • Individuals experiencing displacement who need safe spaces to reclaim their narratives

These programs strengthen confidence, communication skills, and community belonging while encouraging dialogue across cultures and lived experiences.

Why Storytelling Matters

Storytelling is a powerful tool for community building. When individuals share their lived experiences, communities gain opportunities to build empathy, challenge stereotypes, and strengthen relationships across cultures and generations.

StoryBridge programs are designed to ensure that storytelling becomes a catalyst for dialogue, learning, and belonging rather than simply a performance or one-time event.

Partner With StoryBridge

StoryBridge collaborates with nonprofits, municipal and government agencies, schools, and community organizations to deliver storytelling programs that foster dialogue and inclusion.

If your organization is interested in hosting a storytelling program or partnering on a community initiative, we would love to hear from you.
